Mahira promotes Raees, Ranbir-Deepika talk about relationships and Harsh-Diljit's debut award controversy - Top 10 newsmakers this week!

Another week goes by and here are the celebs who grabbed eyeballs. The Raees vs Kaabil clash took place at the box office. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan finally promoted Raees in Dubai and back home, Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussanne Khan was rooting for HR's film. 

While Harshvardhan Kapoor finally apologized Diljit Dosanjh over his Best Debut Award controversy, Pulkit Samrat's ex-wife Shweta Rohira filed for a divorce in a family court. There, the actor lost his calm on a photog and got involved in a scuffle.

10) Sussanne roots for Hrithik’s Kaabil; shares a cutesy pic from the post-screening bash

Hrithik hosted a special screening of Kaabil for family members and close pals in the city. The screening that had Rishi, Neetu and Zayed in attendance was also graced by ex-wife Sussanne Khan. And while the couple has separated in 2014, they continue to share a warm equation, so much so that Sussanne has been his biggest support in all these years. Especially now that they are often seen spending time together, Sussanne’s sweet words on Hrithik’s performance in Kaabil come as no surprise.

9) Dhanush also won the debut award & so did Fawad, I'm not the 1st one - Diljt reacts to Harshvardhan's rant

Debutant Harshvardhan Kapoor recently grabbed eyeballs for his statement that he made on losing the Best Debut Award Male to Diljit Dosanjh. In an interview recently, when Diljit Dosanjh was asked to react to Harsh's rant, he humbly replied, "Koi na Koi na.. I didn't feel bad at all. I am a huge fan of Anil Kapoor and Harsh is the son of a big superstar. I know that Dhanush got an award, who has worked in many South films and Fawad Khan also got an award, who is a star in Pakistan. I am not the first example. So it is not ethically wrong. People's love is the biggest award."

Later, Harsh apologized for his comments on Twitter.

8) Vaibhavi Merchant takes a dig at Filmfare for nominating Salman Khan in the Best Choreographer category!

Filmfare Awards have been termed as Unfair Awards and an upset choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant lashed out at the institution in a sarcastic way for nominating Salman Khan as the Best Choreographer for Jag Ghoomeya instead of giving credits to her. 

7) Personally, I am not ready for marriage - Deepika Padukone

In a candid interview with Filmfare this month, Deepika Padukone spoke at length about her relationship status and her thoughts on marriage. 

Deepika was in Canada for a relatively longer schedule while she was shooting for xXx. Also, 2016 went by in globe-trotting owing to film's promotions and public appearances. On being asked what's her take on long distance relationships, she said, "I don't think I'm an expert with relationships in first place. Also, I haven't dealt with a long distance relationship to know what goes into it. But I do believe relationships are what you make of them. They can be easy, complex depending on what two people make out of it. End of the day it takes two people to make a relationship work. As long as they both are on the same page, it's good."

In an interaction with Filmfare, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about his current singleton status. On being asked if there is a line between friendship and love, he says that's exactly what Karan Johar touched upon in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. To this Ranbir said, "Sometimes, you dearly love someone but you can't possess that person. But does that stop you from loving that person? And if that person is not reciprocating that love but wants friendship instead, then can one find peace with just friendship?" 

4) Pulkit-Shweta divorce: Actor attacks and threatens to sabotage a media person's career!

Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira were present at a family court in Bandra where the latter filed a divorce from her ex-husband. While exiting the court, Pulkit was spotted in a foul mood. On being questioned about his divorce proceedings, the actor lost his calm on a media photog, whom he grabbed by his collar. Reportedly, Pulkit threatened the person saying 'Your career shall end by evening today!' Further, Pulkit grabbed the photographer's camera and smashed it to the ground.
