KWK: Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput give major #CoupleGoals by talking about exes, their 'Vivah' and unconditional love

Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput finally made their national television debut together on Koffee With Karan 5. It was a much-awaited wait to see this cute couple's chemistry in real, unlike what we see through Shahid's Instagram and paparazzi pictures. The recently became parent's couple were at their candid best and it was heartwarming to see their adorable chemistry. Their mushiness and PDA even made the host Karan Johar a bit annoying, but he surely enjoyed having a tête-à-tête with Shamira as they are fondly called.

A 'Vivah' type love story

Shahid and Mira got into an arranged marriage in the year 2015. Their parents played a cupid, but they revealed that initially, they were sceptical due to the huge age difference. Mira was 21 and Shahid was 34, when they got hitched. But when they first met, they talked for about seven hours without getting bored. Shahid revealed that at first Mira's parents thought that the marriage proposal is for Shahid's half-brother Ruhaan Kapoor, who is almost of the same age of Mira, but it turned out to be for Shahid. The Udta Punjab actor even went on to say that he was single for almost four years and was ready to get into a marital phase of his life. The actor was in a lonely state and now in a very happy one with a beautiful wife and an infant baby girl Misha.

Is Mira in love with Shahid?

The beautiful wife of Shahid said that she is head over heels in love with him. They both realised that when Mira became pregnant that is the time they realised that they are crazy about each other. Shahid stated that he is happy that Mira conceived early which got them very close to each other. There were reports that it was a tough time for Mira during her pregnancy due to which they visited hospital frequently. She recalled an incident that during the IIFA Awards, Shahid had to go to Spain for three days and she realised that she can't stay a moment without him. Mira kept on calling Shahid and said "Come back!" and it was a difficult and impatient three days for her. Karan in the end said, "That's what you call love!"

Pillow Talk

Karan played a game with the couple named 'Pillow Talk'. In the game, a pink pillow was kept between them and they had to give answers without looking at each other. During the segment, Mira revealed that Shahid is a big 'burp'er and light 'snor'rer. Shahid calls Mira, Jaan and the cute wife says 'I Love You' every day before hitting the bed. The couple became naughty too and talked about the times they sleep naked. Cute couple getting wild! Mira even revealed that Shahid quit smoking after marriage for her.

Ex-flames

This was Shahid's fifth appearance on the talk show. Out of five, thrice he has come with his alleged exes - Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha. Karan asked him you got fourth time lucky, to which the chocolate boy said, "Yes if that is your count." He even said that few of his exes were invited to his marriage, but none of them turned up. Coming to Mira's exes, Shahid said that he get to know information about her every time they meet up with her friends. He is on an unlucky side, as his personal life has been open shown in public, but she being a non-celeb was on a positive side.

Rapid with lot of fire

During the most awaited rapid fire round, Shahid revealed that he finds Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra most disciplined on the sets, whereas Kareena and Shraddha least comparatively. Mira stated that she finds Alia a role model from current generation lot as she is easy, breezy. The couple were generally asked questions which included Shahid's co-stars like Kareena, Priyanka, Shraddha, Sonakshi and Alia, which was quite easier for them to give their preferences and choose the best amongst them.

Koffee Quiz

Mira showed her competitive side during the sequence and went on to win a huge golden wrapped gift. Though Karan did not reveal the winner of rapid fire and gave the couple the hamper, but later on he revealed that Shahid won the rapid fire for which Mira said you are being unfair as I won the quiz.
