Koffee with Karan: Anushka and Katrina bring the house down by being “the campaigners of truth”

Katrina and Anushka finally featured on the fifth season of Koffee with Karan and as expected were a laughter bomb on the show. Flaunting their endearing bond, the actresses were clearly on fire and even made the host Karan “nervous” with their presence.

While the episode was filled with loads of high moments, here we bring to you the highlights from the fun-filled Koffee date:

Deep-rooted analysis of the show

The episode began by Katrina and Anushka analysing the show to its very core. Pointing out how “provocative” Karan’s energies are, the ladies gave their individual reasons on why they have been scared to come on the show and didn't hesitate to rant about it. 

While Katrina gave thumbs down to the KWK set, Anushka was also heard talking about how uncomfortable she is with rating actors. And this is not it, the Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars were also seen taking KJo’s case and hilariously pointed out how the director’s demeanour changes in front of the camera.

The anti-social connect between Katrina and Anushka

Both the stars admitted that they are anti-social and share a common attitude towards people. KJo talking about her ADHM star revealed that she remains zoned out a majority of times and well Anushka happily admitted.

The actresses maintained a “stone-cold silence” on questions about their relationship and showed a difference of opinion only when they were asked about the number game. While for Anushka number game is nonsense, Katrina believes in it but only until she is number 1, she jokingly said. 

When special guest Arjun Kapoor got showered with kisses

Karan introduced a fun segment ‘Kiss with Arjun’ in this episode which required the actresses to kiss the actor whenever they agree to a particular statement he says. 

Kat undoubtedly was a revelation during this segment and admitted that she had sent a feeler for getting a role, has been cheated on, has ben flirted by her ex’s friend and has been jealous. On the other hand, Anushka by kissing Arjun on the cheek disclosed that a woman has tried to flirt with her.

And not to mention, Katrina and Anushka’s funny antics did make Karan suffer a meltdown and how!

Rapid Fire Round: Arjun wins hamper as a part of ‘charity’

The Rapid Fire was as always zealous and filled with interesting and quirky details. From talking about Khans, dating or ditching male stars, filling in the blanks, picking on their favourite directors to bullying Arjun, the ladies sported fun spirits and wits.

However, because the actresses “underperformed” as host Karan mentioned the hamper went to Arjun. In fact, the actresses suggested that the Koffee hamper should go to Arjun as a part of “charity.”

Testing mathematics with Koffee Quiz

The last segment was Koffee Quiz and tested Anushka and Kat’s knowledge on films, songs, politics and mathematics. While the ladies seemed quite comfortable with other questions with some slips here and there, a simple question on subtraction made them nervous.

Though both the actresses were in competition till the very end, Anushka won the round after a tie breaker.
