What a week it was! Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan became proud parents to a baby boy - Taimur Ali Khan. Born on December 20, 2016, the news took the social media by storm. However, within a few hours, the happy announcement took an ugly turn when there was a meltdown on social networking sites, with netizens brick batting over Taimur's name! While not many celebs from the industry have come out and backed the Saif and Kareena and their right to privacy, here is how politician Omar Abdullah voiced his support to the new parents. The former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir tweeted, “The only people who get to decide a baby's name are the parents of said baby & the ones they ask. Why should opinion of the rest matter? So congrats to Saif & Kareena and a long happy life to their baby son. May #TaimurAliKhan have a happy & healthy life.”
9) Oops! Sonam Kapoor goofs up during her acceptance speech at a recent awards ceremony
Recently, Sonam Kapoor was presented with the Best Actress Award for her performance in and as Neerja. The biopic revolved around the air-hostess who lost her life saving the passengers aboard the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73. Though an excited Sonam couldn't hold her joy and ended up goofing her acceptance speech! As per reports in a daily, while receiving the award an excited Ms. Kapoor said, “I have to thank the terrorists and passengers for this award!”
