How Saif-Kareena's son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi became the king of social media right after his birth!

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, today, became parents to a baby boy and named him Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. In the blink of an eye, we see the baby boy has already become the star and his name is all over Twitter.

All the tabloids, leading TV channels, fans and the couples' friends were rejoicing and congratulating the new parents. But soon there were some Twitter users who went on to comment negatively and were rather taking the case of this innocent baby who has just arrived in the world. They were quick to point out how inappropriate the name was in the historical context.

So who exactly is Taimur and why was he so infamous? Well, for knowing the truth, we opened the old pages of history. Born as Timur in the 14th century, this nomadic ruler was one of the biggest conquerors of all time, at times even rivaling Genghis Khan, whom he idolized.

But why was he hated? It's said that Taimur and his army managed to kill 17 million people - or roughly 5% of the world population at that time! Taimur brutally invaded India in 1398 and killed many Hindus.
