Go ROFL with Bollywood’s most WTF statements of 2016!

It is not easy to be a celebrity and get it right every time especially when you are in limelight for almost 24*7. At times there are these controversial slips and at other it is just difficult to contain your inner feelings.

Of course, nobody wants to grab the eyeballs for the wrong reasons, but you know how the industry works-no retakes in real life!

Rewinding back to some of the WTF statements by B-town celebs, here is a complete list of the most awkward moments from 2016!

1.“I used to feel like a raped woman,” Salman on his wrestling schedule for Sultan

Being his quirky self isn’t always easy for Salman. The Sultan star was caught in a tight spot after he compared his shoot exhaustion to the trauma of a raped woman. Speaking to an entertainment website, Salman said, “When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight. I would eat and then, head right back to training.”

2.“A woman from pahadi region is doing black magic on me,” Adhyayan Suman on Kangana Ranaut

Kangana’s ex Adhyayan shocked us all by calling her a witch and a woman with impure blood. During an interview, an infuriated Adhyayan narrated an incident about Kangana practising witchcraft and told, “I remember going to my Tarot reader after she started making me doing pujas. She told me she sensed a woman from pahadi region is doing black magic on me…My mother was very worried and she called the family’s Panditji to come home and meet me. The first thing he asked me was: “Khana banati hai tumhare liye?” When I said yes, he said, “Apna impure blood milati hai khaane mein black magic ke liye.”

3. “I don't know why exes do silly things!” When Kangana called on Hrithik for being silly

Amid rumours that Hrithik had ousted Kangana from Aashiqui 3 this is what the Queen star had to say about her "silly-ex". Rubbishing the reports she retorted,  "Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don't dig graves."

4. “My competition is becoming really less,” Katrina’s take on B-town ladies heading out to Hollywood.

With Priyanka and Deepika trying out their luck in Hollywood,  you won’t believe what Kat had to say. The Baar Baar Dekho actress said, “I have realised it recently that as everyone is going to Hollywood my competition is becoming really less. So, now is the time for me to sit here and by default get the roles which will become more available. I think now is the time to capitalise on the good characters.”

5. “US got its hottest 1st Lady” Ram Gopal Verma’s sexist and racist comments post Trump’s win in the elections

While Trump winning the US elections shocked the entire world, guess RGV had entirely a different take on it, which for obvious reasons didn’t really go well with the Twitterati. Smelling of racism and sexism, the director tweeted, “For some reason I like the present First Lady much more than the previous..can anyone tell me why?”  along with a picture of Michelle Obama and a Melanie Trump look-alike.

For another tweet he wrote, “US got its hottest 1st Lady since all wives of presidents starting from George Washington ..1002 kisses to Trump for making America Greater.”

Year after year go by and there is no calming down of Ram Gopal Verma ki aag!

6. "I like girls who are the housewife-type" Tiger Shroff’s ideal woman be like!

Speaking right before the release of Baaghi, here is how Tiger described his ideal woman. "I will get married to a girl from the village. When I reach home, I want a massage so that I can get relaxed. She should stay at home, keep the house clean and give me home-cooked food. I like girls who are the housewife-type."

7. “Shah Rukh Khan is a baadshah, that's my song,” Abhijeet’s claims of making SRK the king of Bollywood

Abhijeet like 2015 was unstoppable with his lack of sensitivity and sanity this year as well. The 90’s playback singer with his random rants went ahead and even hinted at having a big hand in making SRK, the baadshah of Bollywood.

He was heard saying, “ Who is Shah Rukh Khan? Shah Rukh Khan is a baadshah, that's my song. He says 'I am the best' that is my song. And he says 'sari duniya pe chha jawu..baas itna sa khuwab hai.' If you remove these there, where is Shah Rukh Khan? He had always been a musical star and then he went into 'lungi' (Apparently referring to SRK's popular song 'Lungi Dance' sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh) and this is outrageous. It looks like he does not have the belief in himself that he has become a legend.”

8. “Salman can’t live without sex for a month,” this is how Arbaaz punctured Salman’s claims of virginity

Salman, as we know, is a self-proclaimed virgin. However, brother Arbaaz spilled the beans on him after the duo made an appearance on Koffee with Karan.When Arbaaz Khan was asked by Karan Johar who in Bollywood couldn't go without sex for a month, he pointed at Salman!

9. “Animal Farm can teach the little ones to love and care for animals,” Shilpa Shetty went wrong with literature

Shilpa was quoted by a leading English daily as saying, “ Animal Farm can teach the little ones to love and care for animals,” and of course social media didn’t show her any mercy.  Troll jokes started to trend about how Shilpa thinks Fifty Shades Of Grey was a colouring book for kids and how The Hunger Games is a series on Karwa Chauth. However brutal it was, you can’t deny that it indeed was a laughter bomb!
