And while the Indian test cricket captain has always been in news for his impeccable batting skills, his Bollywood connection remains an open secret. His relationship with Anushka Sharma has since long been the talk of the town.
While the lovely couple has been in an on and off relationship for a while, there is no denying that the pair is head over heels in love with each other.

1.Being super-committed
Even before Virat-Anushka went public with their relationship, the star cricketer never hesitated to drop by her sets. He flew down to Srilanka to see his sweetheart who was then shooting for Bombay Velvet.
Recently, the pair was spotted holidaying in London when Virat had a five-day break between the 2nd and 3rd test while playing against West Indies. Reportedly, he also paid a secret visit to Anushka on the sets of Imtiaz Ali’s The Ring in Prague. Envious, aren’t we?!
2.Going all out with the relationship
While some celebs still have qualms about indulging in PDA, blowing a kiss to your girlfriend in a packed stadium sure takes guts and heaps of love. And though we are sure there is no way you could have forgotten it yet here is a little reminder of how Virat has been giving us serious relationship goals. The epic moment took place when Virat become the quickest batsman to score 6,000 runs in ODI.

3.Sticking by during thick and thin
Remember the time when Anushka was subjected to a lot of unnecessary flak after Virat wasn’t able to perform well during the World Cup simply because the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star was present during the semi-finals? Here is how Virat came back with his lady love when she was blamed for the defeat.

Another proof why Virat is probably the best boyfriend ever is how he lashed out at the haters when they heavily trolled Anushka after his exceptional performance in World T20 semi-finals, even when the pair had temporarily broken up.
Giving piece of his mind, Virat wrote,"Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I dont need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public."

5. Is extremely supportive of Anushka’s career
We have now seen multiple times how Anushka went all over cheering from the stand for beau but here is how Virat did all he can to show support to the Sultan star’s career.
This is what he wrote after watching PK as he took the entire team with him –“Saw PK with the whole team yesterday and loved the movie. What a spiritually enlightening film. Great great work by everyone.”
This one came after NH10-“And Just watched #NH10 and I am blown away. What a brilliant film and specially an outstanding performance by my love @AnushkaSharma. SO PROUD.” Flattering!
