Sushant Singh Rajput has had only four releases till now, but it feels like that he has been in the industry for a longer time. His careful selection of films and a successful transition from TV to films with Kai Po Che(2013), followed up with Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), PK (2014) and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!(2015) have made fans take notice. Now, Sushant is playing the titular role in his upcoming film, M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story

Looks like, this film might also work as a game changer for the 30-year-old actor. If you are playing the titular role in a biopic, it becomes all the way more necessary to absorb the character to make it look convincing on the 70mm screen. Dhoni is one of the most successful and loved skippers and batsman of India and his fans are waiting for the film to hit the screens. Ever since the trailer of the film has hit the internet, people have already started talking about how similar Sushant is to Dhoni! The Kai Po Che actor looks, walks, talks and hits a helicopter shot just like Dhoni, and the fact that he has completely sinked into the character's skin can be seen in every frame of the trailer.

As the film is set to release tomorrow, we thought to draw similarities between Dhoni and Sushant. From his iconic helicopter shot to the typical Dhoni's shoulder movement, we are listing down some of them:

Helicopter Shot

If it's a film on Dhoni, 'helicopter shot' is the very necessity. In one of the promotional events, Dhoni has also said that the actor plays his helicopter shot perfectly and we think this is the best compliment Sushant can get for his film. Those who have seen Sushant in action say he is doing it well. In an interview with us, the Kai Po Che actor said, "Of course! Talking about those 12-14 months of preparation, the last two months I was not training and I was playing matches with under 19 professionals. They knew it that I was an actor, but I scored a lot of runs. So I would like to believe that I play well."

Shoulder Movement

Sushant has perfectly imitated Dhoni's shoulder movement and the way he picks up his bat and the way Dhoni enters the ground.

His Hairstyle

When MS Dhoni made his One-Day International (ODI) debut for India in 2004, he sported a long, unkempt mane and if you see the trailer, you'll see a stark similarity in Sushant's hairstyle. You rub your eyes with disbelief and you're completely convinced that he is Dhoni and not pretending to be him (as Sushant puts it).

His walking style

Here you go! Sushant has gone up to an extent of imitating Dhoni's walking style. Not just walking, the way they sit is also alike.

His accent

Talking about the way they talk, Sushant has also uplifted the accent and it's commendable!

To conclude, Sushant and Dhoni are both from small town and they both chased their dreams, despite their parents not supporting them. This proves, that nothing but your hard work matters! We are eagerly waiting for tomorrow and what about you?
