Ae Dil Hai Mushkil marks the comeback of Aishwarya from her sabbatical in the truest sense. The 42-year-old actress who had put her career at the backseat post-delivery can now be seen in her mettle with the movie.

Stills and songs from ADHM featuring the former beauty queen have set our hearts racing and solely celebrate the beauty and charisma of the actress.

Aishwarya as Saba Taliyar Khan is flirtatious, full of spirits, high on life, glamorous and adventurous! In short everything, she wasn’t in Jazbaa and Sarbjit, where she had mature and subtle characters to play.

Jazbaa had Aish play the role of a criminal lawyer and single mother Anuradha Verma. This role highlighted the motherly streak in her. Anuradha was a powerful character and a mature one, far from the shadows of romance and sensuality.

Aishwarya again played a pivotal role in Sarabjit as Dalbir Kaur (Sarabjit’s sister) in the biopic and even garnered a lot of appreciation for the same. Here too, Aishwarya was seen in a strictly performance-oriented role, which touched our hearts but, nevertheless, didn’t set it racing.

After performing within the boundaries of social relationships like that of a mother and a sister in these movies, we see an extremely liberated Aishwarya in Karan Johar’s next.

From what we have seen from the trailer and the songs, Aish stuns as a poetess, as a widow, and as an unrestrained lover. The light eyed beauty has this time adapted herself into an unprecedented role. A character that hasn’t been played before on the screen, a character that had no role models and a character that stands out most significantly for the guts it takes to paint that role on screen.
