A relationship between a brother and his sister is always special! They fight, yell, make-up but ultimately love each other.

As today marks the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, let's look at some of the reel-life brother and sister who gave us #SiblingGoals:

1. Ayesha and Kabir (Dil Dhadakne Do)

Ayesha and Kabir showed us the relationship between a modern day sister and brother. The way they corrected each other's mistakes but also stood by each other made us think of our own siblings.

2. Iqbal and Khadija (Iqbal)

Iqbal's relationship with his sister Khadija is the most significant one in our books because she was there for him from the start and she was the one who helped him convince the coach to teach him how to bowl. She was his biggest cheerleader.

3. Vivek, Prem, Vinod and Sangeeta (Hum Saath Saath Hai)

Although now, when we see this family oriented movie we may think it is too over the top. But the relationships between the three brothers and their sister always makes us happy. When she was at her lowest it was her brothers who gave her the support system she needed.

4. Vishal and Muskaan (Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya)

One personality trait of an elder brother is possessiveness and that was shown to it's truest in this movie. Always keep in mind boys, brothers know best!

5. Isri and Milkha (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag)

Isri was like a motherly figure to Milkha as he had lost his parents during the partition. She always defended and loved him. She mortgaged off her jhumkas to get him out of jail. In a tear-jerking scene when Milkha comes back to meet her in his army uniform, he makes her wear the jacket and when she looks inside the pocket, she finds her jhumkas

6.Vijay and Kanika (Agneepath)

They might have been separated for a long time but Vijay never stopped being a brother for his younger sister and would send her presents every year. The scene where they finally unite will make anyone cry tears of joy.

7. Ishaan and Vidya (Kai Po Che!)

Kai Po Che showed us that however close you might be to a person, if you hit on his sister - you're dead!

8. Max and Shirley (Josh)

Max and Shirley were each other's lifeline. He was a very protective brother and would defend her anytime, anywhere.

9. Fiza and Amaan (Fiza)

This movie showed a sister's undying love for her brother. Her quest for finding her brother who went missing after the 1993 Mumbai riots showed us how a sister would not stop at any means to find her brother.

10. Aditi and Amit (Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na)

The quirky relationship between them, where they would always fight with each other happens in every house! The icing on the cake, however, was when Amit finally made Aditi realise that she loved her best friend, Jai and that particular scene melted our hearts right away.
