Yes, you heard it right! Posters of Aiswarya Rai Bachchan have been removed in Malaysia after the local council found them to be too sexy to be displayed in stores. Apparrently, the council felt that these posters would corrupt the minds of the youth.
The posters in question are the ads for a watch brand that Aishwarya endorses. As part of a campaign, huge posters of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were displayed in the stores to attract customers. The owner of the shop explained that the posters where supplied by the manufacturer, however the local council did not acceot that.
The posters were removed and the owner was fined handsomely.
