LOL! Baba Sehgal Gives Hindi lessons in this New Tribute Song to Rihanna!
Baba Sehgal is back! And this time, he has got something sensational for Rihanna lovers. The singer-rapper has released a new video on his official Facebook page and it is a must watch for RiRi lovers and, well, others too!
His songs best fit in this newly-invented category (by us) called musical comedy, as you may split a gut after listening to them!
Sehgal is known for his eccentric take on music and his previous releases — ‘Aloo ka Paratha’ and ‘Maid nai Milti’ — can vouch for that. However, this time, India’s original rapper has taken a notch up further with ‘Rihanna O Rihanna’. Sehgal has broken his long hiatus by releasing songs in the past few months. And, we can say that he is certainly contributing to the society by highlighting the issues through his quirky notes and inescapable lyrics. By the way, we forgot to mention, it does include tributes as well. Just as his latest release is a tribute to the Barbadian singer.
In ‘Rihanna O Rihanna’, the singer wishes luck to the pop sensation of the West and expresses his desire to work with her. He also urges Rihanna to sing a song with him in Hindi, whenever they join forces. He doesn’t stop there and tries to coach a few Hindi lessons to RiRi. And, all this rounds out the three odd minutes of the song’s (hilarious) musical journey! Quite something, isn’t it?
And if you still do not believe us, read a part of the lyrics. It says, “Rihanna O Rihanna..police station is a thana.. wahan pe general store hai, yahan pe hai kirana.. Hindi main kehte hain kela, English main banana.”
