The most-anticipated night of the music industry is all set to take you by a storm today. Dipped in the variety of interesting flavours, Grammys night has always been the talk of the town. Regarded as Oscars of the music industry, Grammys has made enough noise with its super cool packaging. But, we are eagerly waiting to see what is in the offing. Let’s take wide, wild guesses — stunning outfits, mind-blowing performances, weird acceptance speeches and a lot of controversies. And how can we forget, we want to know who all will be taking the hardware home from the 58th Grammy Awards?

We have listed down a few more reasons for you to tune in to the show.

Taylor Swift’s opening act

The young pop star will be starting the Grammys ceremony on Monday and we can bet on our lives that this performance is going to be super awesome. The seven-time nominee will be seen opening the show with a song from her latest album, 1989. The album has been nominated for several categories, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Record Of The Year.

Adele returns to the Grammys stage

Grammys’ favourite Adele will return to the stage after four years to perform a track from her record-shattering 25 that had crossed more than 8 million copies in the US. Though the songstress isn't eligible for any awards this year, we are confident that this lady will steal the show! The 10-time Grammy winner’s massive return after the hiatus has already created quite an uproar amongst her fans. Come on Adele, we love you!

Gwen Stefani will shoot a live music video

Yes, you heard it right! The pop diva is all set to make a mark in history, as she plans to produce the first-ever music video created on live television. The gorgeous trendsetter will shoot the video for her new single, ‘Make Me Like You,’ live as part of a four-minute commercial break. Isn’t it thrilling?

Time for tributes

Lady Gaga will pay a tribute to the legendary singer/performer David Bowie at the Grammys. Gaga has always been vocal about the late pop sensation and will use the stage to pay her regards to Bowie, who passed away this year on January 10.

Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, and Gary Clark, Jr. will pay homage to Blues king B.B. King, whereas Eagles bandmates and Jackksom Browne will come together to honour Glenn Frey. To pay homage to Lemmy Kilmister, the rock band Hollywood Vampires — comprising Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp — will make their TV debut. Now, that’s something!

Kendrick Lamar + Taylor Swift's + Grammy stage live = awesomeness

Aren’t we already floored by Kendrick Lamar’s rocking act in Taylor Swift's ‘Bad Blood’? Imagine Lamar shaking a leg with Swift on the Grammys stage. Now, wouldn’t that be awesome? Honestly, we can’t wait!!

Hamilton cast live from Broadway

Looks like too much ‘liveliness’ will be going on at the Grammys’ stage. Broadway cast of the musical Hamilton, which is also nominated for Best Musical Theater Album, will act upon a number from the show. This will be the fourth time they will be performing live via satellite network.

MusiCares Person of the Year award

Demi Lovato, John Legend, Meghan Trainor and Luke Bryan will unite to perform a tribute to Lionel Richie, who is the MusiCares person of the year. Joe Walsch, Bernie Leadon and Timothy Schmit will also be honoured with the MusiCares Person of the Year award

Performances by Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, and more

The musical night has quite an impressive line-up of performances by who’s who of the musical world. Right from Rihanna, Adele, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Carrie Underwood, The Weeknd, Sam Hunt, Ellie Goulding, Miguel, Andra Day, Alabama Shakes, Tori Kelly, Joey Alexander, James Bay, and Little Big Town among many others, there are so many awesome performances to look forward to. Oh God! We just can’t stop gushing over these. By the way, did we mention that Pitbull will team up for collaboration with Robin Thicke and Travis Barker at the award night?

Red-carpet debut

Much in love couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani could debut at the Grammys red-carpet. The couple came in open about their relationship in November last year. But, this will be the first-time they will be walking the red carpet together at the Grammys officially as a couple. Shelton has also been nominated for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Lonely Tonight with Ashley Moore, this could be a major occasion to do so.

Kanye West could storm the stage — again

Talking of musical do and no mention of Kanye West is impossible. Despite multiple nominations, including Best Rap Performance for ‘All Day’, the king without crowns for controversies may not be seen at the Grammys. Well, in that case, we are expecting some stage crash this year.

P.S. This won’t be West’s first stage crash. So, don’t be too surprised

With LL Cool on the podium for the fifth time, you can see the show on air without any tape delay They will air live on CBS nationwide for western time zones this year — at 8:00 pm ET(Eastern Time)/5:00 pm (Pacific Time)/6.30 am IST ( Indian Standard Time)
