Happy 76'th birthday Tom and Jerry! Thanks for making our childhood awesome
For most of us, childhood memories are incomplete without mentions of Tom and Jerry.
Do you recall laughing endlessly over the mouse running frantically, teasing the cat or that wooden catch plate with a slice of cheese on it that Tom kept to lure Jerry? Remember Tom’s copious attempts to capture Jerry and the chaos and destruction that would follow.
There are so many instances and episodes of the classic animated series that are still fresh in our mind.
But what we are going to tell you next is going to make you feel not only nostalgic but also old. Our beloved classic cartoon duo of Tom and Jerry has recently turned 76 and we aren’t sure whether to be happy or to be sad.
The much-loved cartoon pair was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera on February 10, 1940.
The characters taught us many things about, life, love, relationship and even enmity. Their bond, often closer to sibling rivalry, has made them the loved by kids and adults alike for many generations. Let's take a dip into the pond of our childhood memories with this video:
