Hot! Alia-Shah Rukh Kickstart Shoot of KJO-Gauri's film
In a development that is bound to send fans of Hindi cinema into a state of frenzy, filmmaker Gauri Shinde recently kick started the shoot of her latest directorial venture which features Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead. Co-produced by Karan Johar, it is her first film in nearly four years. Her last directorial English Vinglish had hit screens in 2012. Featuring Sridevi in the lead, it fared well at the box office. As such It will be worth watching whether she is able consolidate her standing in Bollywood even further with her latest movie.
Interestingly, shortly after the film was announces, some movie buffs criticized the decision to pair Alia with the Dilwale star. However, it was soon clarified that the two will not be playing lovers in the movie. Moreover, it was also revealed that the film’s narrative would revolve around the Alia’s character.
And talking of Alia, she was last seen in the box office bomb Shaandaar. As such, it be interesting to see whether Gauri’s film is able to help her taste success once again. Moreover, her onscreen rapport with Shah Rukh will also be an important talking point of this upcoming film.
