Sooraj Pancholi-
The 25-year-old son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab made smashing debut with Nikhil Advani’s Hero. Produced by Salman Khan, the movie also had Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty opposite Sooraj. Though the movie, which released in September this year, bombed at the box office, Sooraj was appreciated for his onscreen persona.
Omkar Kapoor-
The ‘Masoom’ ladka suddenly set the silver screen on fire this year with the second installment of Luv Ranjan’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. The actor who was very famous as Master Omkar Kapoor in the 90’s has worked as a child artiste in movies like Masoom, Judwaa, Hero No 1 and many more. OK sizzled in his Bollywood debut and was highly appreciated for his hot body and charming persona.
Karan Singh Grover-
Known for a perfect blend of chiselled body and good looks, well known small screen face Dr. Armaan aka Karan Singh Grover had already captivated the hearts of youngsters with his daily soap Dil Mill Gaye. The actor made his transition from TV to the Big Screen with Bhushan Patel’s horror film Alone opposite the Bong hottie Bipasha Basu.The movie released in January this year.
Kapil Sharma-
Stand-up comedian, actor, TV host, producer and singer, Kapil Sharma, who shot to fame with laugh riot Comedy Nights With Kapil, made his big screen debut with Abbas Mustan’s Kis Kiss ko Pyaar Karoon which became quite successful at the Box Office. The movie also starred Elli Evram, Manjiri Phadnis, Sai Lokur, Simran Kaur Mundi, Arbaaz Khan and Varun Sharma.
Karan Johar-
After giving the industry blockbusters like Kuch kuch hota hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and umpteen number of hits, the 43-year-old director made his full-fledged acting debut as an antagonist in Anurag Kashyap's directorial venture 'Bombay Velvet' which had his dear friend Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead. Exactly two decades ago, Karan was seen in very small role as SRK’s friend in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
