5 controversies that made Aamir Khan the talk of the town for negative reasons !

The past few days have seen never-like-before anguish and hatred against the country’s one of the most popular actor, Aamir Khan for his recent remark he made over the intolerance issue of the country. While a few eminent personalities and fan followers seem to have have supported him, the rest have lashed out in every possible way; be it on social media or in the form of protests outside his residence. The perfectionist who was once looked upon as ‘A Man acquainted with wise words and deep thoughts’, today has found himself amidst the town’s most heated up issue. The actor who had not only entertained his audiences with his movies but also preached a deep and vital message through them, seems to have hurt alot of sentiments and hence is still facing majority of the world's back turn towards him.

But this isn't the first time, Bollywood’s ‘Rancho.’ is news for the wrong reasons. Though probably, this seems to be the most heated up controversy of his life, Aamir has seen himself surrounded with controversies even before.

1.When Shah Rukh licked Aamir’s feet...!

Not literally though ! Aamir made heads turn when he got onto making a nasty remark about King Khan and went on to say, “Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for? Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog”. This obviously did not go down well with Shah Rukh Khan who then gave it back to Aamir on the same platform in the latter’s same style.

2.Reena Dutt Divorce case.

The Reena-Aamir divorce made it to headlines on every news portal more than a decade ago. After having lived a happy married life for 16 years, the couple divorced, much to everyone's surprise. It was highly speculated that Aamir’s closeness to his female co-stars and constant affairs led Reena in taking this drastic step.

The couple who have two kids, Junaid and Ira are now in good terms with each other.

3.’Black’ Remarks against Big B.

The perfectionist Aamir had also triggered the usually patient and cool headed Amitabh Bachchan by stating negative comments on Big B’s hit flick Black. He had said that the movie was an emotionless film and that Big B’s acting was not understandable. He had also commented on Sr. Bachchan’s acting in the movie and had called it to be ‘over-the-top and loud.’ Amitabh  was sheerly displeased with the actor and gave it back to Mr. Perfectionist!

4.Aamir’s NRI girlfriend and their love child.

According to a magazine, during the making of Ghulam, Aamir had met a British journalist, Jessica Hines and was in a live-relationship with her. It was during this time when she became pregnant. Aamir who was married to Reena then suggested Jessica to dissolve the relation or to abort the child, to which the lady decided on having the baby. Even now the single mother and their love child (a son) Jaan,now a teenager reside in London.

5.Father-Brother vs Aamir.

When blood relations speak against each other, things always end up nasty! Faisal Khan, Aamir Khan’s brother (also Aamir’s co-star in the movie Mela) had accused Aamir of keeping him mercilessly grounded and feeding him wrong medicines just to pronounce the former to be mentally ill. After father Tahir and brother Aamir both filed an application with the court seeking Faisal’s custody and after an intense court case that went on for long was when the custody was finally handed over to Aamir Khan just to be handed over again to their father Tahir Hussain soon.

Aamir, inspite of carrying a very homely image, has been into various relationships with his co-stars, one of which was also his co-star in his 1991 hit flick and is the daughter of Bollywood's top director.
