POLL: In which film did you like Ranbir and Deepika’s chemistry the most?
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are pairing up for the third time and the two will be seen together in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’. The trailer released today and we are totally going ga-ga over their chemistry. Now, let’s take a look at this ex-lovers’ on-screen pair up and you let us know which is your most likeable jodi.
Raj and Gayatri (Bachna Ae Haseeno, 2008)
Young and established and most importantly...casanova Raj falls in love with Gayatri, a taxi driver. When a commitment phobic Raj, known to have dumped many girls, gets dumped by the girl he falls in love with...love happens. Deepika played a no-nonsense strong headed girl who makes Ranbir aka Raj realise his mistake. The two were reportedly dating during that period and have been the most lovey-dovey couple on the social circle. Deepika’s ‘RK’ tattoo on her nape was the proof. But things didn’t work out between the two. However, we loved this fresh pairing. What about you?
Bunny and Naina (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, 2013)
The much loved pair made a comeback after a gap of five years and they just wowed us with their presence and made us wish they were together off-screen as well. Nonetheless, Ayan Mukerji’s ‘YJHD’ became youngsters’ favourite film and Bunny-Naina – their favourite jodi. Deepika – nerd falls in love with Bunny – the traveller, the explorer, who just wants to go with the flow. But love happens and Bunny starts to fit Naina in all his dreams. We just loved the film as Bunny and Naina created magic.
Ved and Tara (Tamasha, 2015)
Two years after ‘YJHD’, Ranbir and Deepika reunite...on screen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’. And the pair set the screen on fire with their crackling chemistry. Ranbir, while working with Deepika in ‘Tamasha’, had once said that he is amazed to see Deepika’s evolvement as an actor. Ved and Tara play the carefree, bohemian couple here with a twist.
