The 10-day long Ganpati Festival kick-starts today. And amid all the festive fervour and frenzied crowd, the firm belief in God lifts our spirits high. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with a belief that Ganesha–the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati - bestows his blessings to their devotees. Also known as Sankashti Chaturthi, it is an auspicious day as it brings luck and fortune. Celebrated worldwide in households and public, the festival finds a very special place in the hearts of B-town celebs and in films as well.
