Dil Bechara TRAILER: Sushant Singh Rajput & Sanjana Sanghi's ‘un fairy’ tale will tug at your heart

Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise, the makers of Sushant’s last film- Dil Bechara announced that his film will digitally release on July 24, 2020. While die-hard fans of Sushant expressed a sense of angst as they wanted his last film to witness a theatrical release, however, in times of the pandemic, the best way to celebrate the late actor is to release his film online. And so, today, after all the wait, the trailer of Dil Bechara has released online, and let us tell you, if the trailer is anything to go by, we are sure that Sushant and Sanjana are going to be magical together.
As soon as we press the play button, we are transported to the world of Kizie and Manny aka Sanjana and Sushant, respectively, as the trailer begins with Sanjana narrating a story that her grant told her which revolves around the infamous story of ‘Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Raani, Dono Mar Gaye, Khatam Kahani’, and cut 2, Sanjana Sanghi introduces her character Kizie and reveals she has been battling cancer and that is when Sushant Singh Rajput enters her life as a ray of hope. What is noteworthy is that the trailer starts and ends with a beautiful note which is "love makes everything okay". Over the course of the trailer, the two fall for one another while bonding over music and movies. While Sushant’s cancer is in remission, Sanjana’s Kizie tries to distance herself from him so as not to hurt him.
While Kizie’s story will make you emotional, Manny will make you smile and will act as the quintessential friend who is needed when you seek hope. While Kizie and Manny travel to Paris on Kizie’s request, one dialogue in the film mouthed by Sushant that reverberates is when he says, “Janam kab lena hai aur marna kab hai, hum decide nahi kar sake (We cannot decide when to be born or when o die)". Over the course of the trailer, we are sure that every Sushant fan will get emotional knowing that this is his last film. While Dil Bechara was previously titled Kizie Aur Manny, the film is the Hindi adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars, and directed by Mukesh Chabbra, Sushant will be seen romancing Sanjana Sanghi on screen, who makes her debut with the film. Besides, Dil Bechara also features Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role and the movie is slated for release on July 24, 2020 on Disney+Hotstar.
