Shahid Kapoor welcomes Padmaavat co-stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to the ‘taken’ club

Shahid Kapoor joined the married men's club in 2015, and since then, it has been a mad rollercoaster ride for him. Knowing the feeling very well, he had the sweetest wish for his Padmaavat co-stars, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who got hitched on November 14 in Italy. He took to Twitter to welcome them to the club and wrote, “Here’s wishing you guys @deepikapadukone @RanveerOfficial a wonderful and happy married life together. Welcome to the club.” Well, we find it sweet given that Ranveer as Khilji couldn’t win over Rani sa in Padmaavat but in real life, he won after all. 

Deepika and Ranveer will be returning to Mumbai on the 18th which is tomorrow, after which, they will be flying off to Bengaluru where a grand reception will he held on November 21 followed by two receptions in Mumbai, one on November 28 and another on December 1 which will be graced by the who’s and who of Bollywood. Our sources inform us that Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif have been invited for the Mumbai reception and we cannot be happier. We are sure the invitee list would be pretty long given that both Deepika and Ranveer share a great working relationship with a lot of industry friends.

Coming to the couple, they were dressed in Sabyasachi ensemble from head to toe and looked their royal best on their big day. Their wedding ceremony was attended by family members and close friends only. After the wedding, the lovebirds apparently hosted a lavish party which went on for the whole night. Ranveer apparently came on a boat with his baarat with 90s music playing the background and we cannot wait for the couple to release a video of the same.
