Ranveer Singh to take three weeks off for his upcoming wedding with Deepika Padukone?

Ranveer Singh will be taking a break of three weeks ahead of his wedding with Deepika Padukone. The actor had let his Simmba director Rohit Shetty know about the wedding well in advance to work out the shoot and film promotion schedules accordingly.

After six years of togetherness, Bollywood's power couple DeepVeer aka Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are finally taking their relationship to the next level: marriage. In a sweet announcement through social media, Deepika and Ranveer revealed that the couple will be getting hitched during the dates November 14-15. While Deepika has her movie calendar clear in 2018, as she will begin shooting for Meghna Gulzar's next from January 2019, Ranveer is busy with the shoot of Simmba, slated to release on December 28, 2018. 

According to DNA, Ranveer has taken a three-week break from his work schedule for his upcoming nuptials. Ranveer had informed Simmba director Rohit Shetty about the wedding well in advance so as to work out the shoot and film promotion schedules accordingly. On November 10, Ranveer will travel to Lake Como, Italy (rumoured wedding destination) for the wedding. DeepVeer will then head back to India where they will have two grand wedding receptions. One in Bengaluru, Deepika's hometown for their family and one in Mumbai for their B-Town buddies.

Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer will head for a brief honeymoon to an undisclosed location, post their wedding, after which Ranveer will kickstart the promotions of Simmba in the first week of December. While their honeymoon will be short, DeepVeer does plan to take another holiday to celebrate Deepika's birthday, which is on January 5.

Speaking of Simmba, Ranveer will be paired opposite newcomer Sara Ali Khan.
