After their wedding in Italy, today, the newly-weds, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh returned to Mumbai. Soon after posing for the shutterbugs at the Mumbai airport, Ranveer and Deepika left for Singh’s residence in Mumbai for the Griha Pravesh.
Soon after reaching the Mumbai airport, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were literally surrounded by hundreds of fans, all congratulating the newly-wed couple. And knowing Deepika and Ranveer, they patiently smiled and waved at the shutterbugs and fans before leaving for Singh’s residence. At the Mumbai airport, while Deepika was wearing a wearing a beige ethnic suit- teamed with a red dupatta, Ranveer too was wearing a beige colored kurta pyajama with a red colored jacket, matching Deepika’s dupatta. Looks like Deepika and Ranveer ahev decided to go color-coordinated for all their ceremonies and we can’t wait to see what the couple wears for their wedding receptions.
Soon after leaving from the airport, DeepVeer reached Ranveer’s residence in Mumbai for the griha pravesh ceremony, a ceremony to welcome the bahu. Yes, special arrangements have been made to welcome the Bhavnani bahu and according to reports, all of Singh’s relatives are waiting at his home to welcome Deepika. For all those who don’t know, during griha pravesh, the bride is welcomed into the house by the mom-in-law, with an aarti. As per customs, the bride and in this case, Deepika Padukone will have to enter the house with her right foot first. But before going inside, Ranveer and Deepika waved at the papparazzi waiting outside Ranveer's residence and it was only after posing for them that this couple went inside for the griha pravesh ceremony.
After dating each other for six years, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh took to social media to make an official announcement about their wedding. Now, after their much anticipated wedding in Lake Como, Italy, the couple will be hosting two receptions- one in Bengaluru and one in Mumbai. The one in Bengaluru is on November 21 at The Leela Palace and the one in Mumbai is on November 28 at Grand Hyatt.
