FIRST PICTURES: Newly weds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are back home; snapped at Mumbai airport
After their dreamy Italian wedding, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh returned to Mumbai today. This Padmaavat couple was papped at the Mumbai airport and as always, they were all smiles while waving at the shutterbugs. See pictures!
As Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were tying the knot in Italy, fans here were sitting at the edge of their seats, waiting to get the tiniest peek of the bride and groom. But it was only after a long wait that Deepika and Ranveer shared two candid pictures from their wedding- Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies. Now as the newly-wed couple is all set to return to the bay, looks like the embargo on the photographs has been lifted. Why?
Soon after DeepVeer shared pictures on their social media channels, their hairstylists, make-up artists and designers have been posting snapshots on social media. While in one of the pictures shared by Deepika’s hairstylist, Gabriel Giorgio, we saw a snap of Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Gabriel, another picture has been shared by Ranveer’s stylist, Nitasha Gaurav, featuring the crew. But finally, after their dreamy Italian wedding, the newly-weds have reached India and today, they were papped coming out of the Mumbai airport and both Deepika and Ranveer were wearing ethnic attires.
Before reaching Mumbai, the couple was spotted at the Milan airport. According to reports, DeepVeer will be heading to Ranveer’s Mumbai residence soon after they arrive in Mumbai. Ahead of their wedding, we had informed you that Ranveer’s apartment in Mumbai was all lit up and decorated and according to reports, special arrangements have been made to welcome Deepika. Post their arrival, on November 20, 2018, the couple will leave for Bengaluru as their reception is dated for November 21, 2018.
After the couple left for Italy, the wedding celebrations kick-started with a host of pre-wedding ceremonies like mehndi and sangeet. First, the Padmavaat couple got married in a four-hour long Konkani-Brahmin ritual and a day later, Deepika and Ranveer exchanged vows according to the Anand Karaj ceremony. Deepika and Ranveer started dating each other on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela and after dating each other for six years, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh took to social media to make an official announcement about their wedding. Now, after their dreamy wedding in Italy, the duo will be hosting two receptions- one in Bengaluru and one in Mumbai. The one in Bengaluru is on November 21 at The Leela Palace and the one in Mumbai is on November 28 at Grand Hyatt.
