Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got hitched in Italy. Ranveer’s sister Ritika planned a great surprise for them.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are finally man and wife and their union has only reinforced our belief in eternal love. The couple who dated for six years and fell in love on the sets of Ram Leela got hitched in a South Indian Konkani wedding on November 14, 2018 followed by a North Indian Sindhi wedding on November 15, 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. The couple will be returning to Mumbai on 18th November, and then, they will fly to Bengaluru for the November 21 reception which will be attended by a few family members and friends.
As the couple got hitched in Italy, Ranveer’s abode in Mumbai was decorated beautifully to celebrate the union of Bollywood’s Ram Leela. To know about it, we got in touch with Wedding Cupids who did the decor for them, and they revealed exclusively to us that it was Ranveer Singh’s sister Ritika Bhavnani who was the brain behind this as she wanted to surprise her brother. Now, we found this to be too cute. Sahib Singh, the CEO and founder of WC told us, ”We have been given these decor specification by the family (Ranveer’s Dad Mr Jugjeet Bhavnani and Sister Ritika Bhavnani) as it was supposed to be a surprise for them. We have customised this entire decor as per the likes of the family members. The brief given was pretty clear, classy and elegant.”

Meanwhile, the couple is currently looking for a new abode in Mumbai. Till then, the actor will be moving in with Deepika in her house. The couple will host two receptions in Mumbai, first on November 28 and next in December 1 where Bollywood friends will be invited. Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra among others are invited for the reception in Mumbai.
