Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in Italy today. Deepika Padukone led a regal bridal walk from top of the villa to the wedding venue. The wedding took place according to Konkani customs.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh solemnised their six year long relationship in Italy today. The couple's wedding was an intimate affair with only closest friends and immediate family members present. We saw glimpses of the wedding and the rituals in the videos shared by several news channels. The wedding rituals were according to the Konkani traditions followed by Deepika Padukone's family. Deepika Padukone looked ethereal in a red and gold lehenga by Sabyasachi. Ranveer Singh opted for a white kurta and dhoti.
Sources informed us EXCLUSIVELY that Deepika led a regal bridal walk from the top of the villa to the venue of the wedding, as per the Konkani traditions. The priest who was flown from India performed all the rituals and the Konkani Brahmin wedding ceremony was 4 hours long. The couple exchanged varmalas and it was an emotional moment for their family. Times of India reported that the guests present at the venue were shifted to a villa at 7 AM in the morning via a boat. We also got a glimpse of the bride and the groom as they exited the venue after their wedding.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will tie the knot tomorrow again as per Sindhi traditions. The venue will de decorated with red flowers and the guests and the couple will be wearing red outfits. The couple will throw a party tomorrow after the Anand Karaj ceremony. They will return to India on November 18, 2018 as a married couple.
