Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted at the airport yesterday morning as they left for Bengaluru. They will be hosting their wedding reception in Bengaluru today at The Leela Palace Hotel. Ahead of the reception, the Padukone residence in Bengaluru is all lit up. The couple posed for photos for the media at the Mumbai airport and burst into laughter as some mediapersons referred to Deepika as ‘Bhabhiji’. As they arrived at Bengaluru airport, Ranveer Singh opted for the escalator while Deepika took the stairs.
The couple was engrossed in conversation as they exited the airport. Fans had the best reactions as to why the couple did not take the stairs or the escalator together. One fan posted, “They are best example of opposite attracts. Contrast people make best couple they complete each other like deepveer,” whereas another shared, “That's why they're successful as a couple, because they are not trying to change each other. But accept the other as they are and make it work by adjusting to each other.”

The couple got married on November 14 according to Konkani traditions and on November 15 according to Sindhi customs. The couple shared about 15 photos from their wedding festivities on social media today, much to the delight of their fans.
