Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding is just around the corner and it is one of the biggest highlights of the year. Yes, it is the current hot and trending topic and fans want to know each and every detail of their wedding ceremonies that will take place tomorrow and day after tomorrow, i.e. on 14 and 15 November, respectively. After dating for around six years, the duo finally decided to take the plunge. The couple left for Italy four days back and they happily posed for the paparazzi.
Talking about the Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, they fell in love on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela (2013) and on 21st October 2018, they issued a statement on social media confirming their wedding rumours. The venue for the DeepVeer shaadi is famous luxury getaway Lake Como, Italy and all the wedding festivities will take place at the gorgeous Villa del Balbianello. Mehendi ceremony and Sangeet ceremony
Deepika and Ranveer’s sangeet and Mehendi will take place today i.e.13th November 2018 in Italy and post that all the other ceremonies will start off. For the sangeet occasion, musicians such as Sanjoy Das, Bobby Pathak and Firoz Khan and Harshdeep Kaur will be performing. Their mehendi ceremony will start off at 11 am (as per Italy time) and musical ambiance will be created with Punjabi and Sufi songs. To add more information here, both their mehendi ceremonies were held at different places. Ranveer’s ceremony took place at the CastaDiva Resort and Deepika's function took place at Villa d’Este. Well, what was interesting here is that even male members applied mehendi on their palms. Ranveer reportedly made a dhamekedaar entry on his own song, Tune Maari Enteriyaan from Gunday. For their sangeet, the lovebirds wore colour-coordinated clothes. Love is in the air completely!
Wedding menu photographer and planner
The wedding menu is as per the theme of the wedding. As per reports on 14th November, traditional dishes like dosa, rice will be served to the guests, and on the 15th November, Punjabi cuisine will be served. Chefs from Switzerland have been reportedly booked for desserts and also to prepare the wedding cake. The Wedding Filmer team who were hired for Virushka's wedding will be the photographers of the wedding. And their wedding planner is Vandana Mohan who is the owner of The Wedding Design Company.
Two wedding ceremonies, outfits and jewellery
The stars will tie the knot as two traditions. Yes, the couple will get married in two separate wedding ceremonies. One will be as per Konkani customs and another one will be as per Sindhi customs. As per reports, outfit for her Konkani wedding will have hues of golden, orange and marigold. Also, she may be seen wearing saree as 'Kanche' draping style. For the Konkani rituals, Deepika will be wearing a saree. Her jewelry is from Tanishq and she may don Vaki, Ambada Aati, Pake and Jada Choti as accessories for the wedding day. For Sindhi wedding, she will be wearing a lehenga. Her lehenga may have hues of pink and purples and paired with the royal jadau neckalce. As per reports, both Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will don outfits designed by Sabyasachi. As per reports, the DeepVeer will be in colour coordinated outfits.
About venue and guests
Talking about the Villa del Balbianello, the same is one of the popular destinations for dreamy weddings. It is located on the island of Lecco in Lake Como. As per reports, a wedding party consisting of more than 50 people costs around 30,000 euros. As per reports, the wedding will be attended by a few close friends and family members and from Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are expected to attend DeepVeer's grand wedding.
About two receptions
The first reception will be held in Bengaluru on November 21 at The Leela Palace and another one will be held in Mumbai on November 28. The Mumbai reception is at Grand Hyatt hotel.
About wedding expense
As per reports, the Singhs and the Padukones are staying in a luxury resort on the east side of Lake Como. The whole resort is fully booked by them. As per India Today report, the average cost of one room at this luxury resort is 400 euros, i.e. Rs 33,000. They have booked 75 rooms which means they are spending Rs 24,75,000 per day. So, the total cost is around Rs 1,73,25,000. As per reports, the cost of trousseau and jewelry is around Rs 2 crore. So the wedding costs can be around 3-4 crore.
No gift policy
As per the reception card instructions, DeepVeer will not be accepting any gifts from their guests and instead of gifts, they want their guests to send their gifts as donations to Deepika Padukone’s The Live Love Laugh Foundation.
Ranveer's Baraat
Ranveer Singh who is known for his quirky style will arrive at the wedding venue in a seaplane. Yes, Ranveer, his family and friends will arrive in a seaplane and the same has a seating capacity of 14 people. Reports suggest that the other guests will reach Lake Como by luxury yachts.
Wedding Insurance
As per reports, wedding insurance is done by the duo. As per the insurance document procured, they have gotten an insurance for four days, i.e. from November 12, 2018, to November 16, 2018. The insurance has been done under Oriental Insurance Company.
