Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are now officially man and wife. The two have tied the knot following the Konkani rituals, and today will see the two have a ceremony abiding the Sindhi rituals. While we can imagine their wedding being nothing short of a fairytale affair with all those pictures and videos that have been doing the rounds, official pictures from the ceremony are yet to come. Their wedding followed all the typical south India rituals including the Kanya Aagman, which is the bride walking up to the mandap. And well, Deepika’s walk up the mandap turned out to e one highlight of the ceremony.

As Deepika walked up to the mandap, singer Shubha Mudgal performed live at the ceremony. After the wedding, they also had a lunch in South Indian style where everyone sat down and savoured the food served on banana leaves. Deepika and Ranveer were both dressed in Sabyasachi outfits. While Deepika wore a red and gold ensemble, Ranveer was dressed in a white kurta and dhoti. With the ceremony having strict security and request from the guests to not post pictures on social media, it has been quite the wait for fans to see what their day looked like.

Their wedding started off a 8 am at Lake Como in Italy and everything about the ceremony spelled South Indian. The guests too, were dressed in traditional South Indian attire.

Deepika and Ranveer’s love story is 6 years old and the two fell in love on the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Goliyon ki Raasleela – Ramleela. Ever since, they’ve been giving out couple goals, like no other.
