Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot today at Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy. It is the same villa where John Legend and Chrissy Teigen and many other Hollywood stars have walked down the aisle. Photos of the guests arriving at the venue in boats from Casta Diva resort have gone viral on social media. The couple’s pre-wedding festivities began from November 12, 2018, with their engagement ceremony. The couple exchanged rings and got engaged formally. They hosted a sit-down dinner and thanked their family and friends for being part of the celebration.

On 13th November, the couple and their friends let their hair down at the sangeet ceremony. The wedding ceremony was according to the Konkani-Brahmin traditions. Deepika donned a red and gold lehenga, following the theme of the wedding. Ranveer Singh was dressed in a white kurta and a mundu. We got a glimpse of the newlyweds as they exited the villa after the ceremony, but their team covered their face. They have gone to great lengths to ensure absolute privacy.
