Finally, after the endless wait, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are officially husband and wife, for the power couple tied the knot yesterday in Italy. Yesterday, the Padmavaat couple got married in a four-hour long Konkani-Brahmin ritual and although we did manage to get hold of few pictures from the wedding, however, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s looks haven’t been revealed yet. After the Konkani ceremony, Deepika and Ranveer are all set to tie the knot in Anand Karaj style today at Villa Del Balbianello, Italy.
In the picture, Deepika Padukone is wearing a radiant orange outfit by Sabyasachi Mukherjee in what can be called, a pre-nuptial ceremony in Bengaluru. After the puja which took place few days back, Padukone’s crew- stylist Shaleena Nathani, makeup artist Sandhya Shekar and hairstylist Gabriel Georgiou, all shared photos of Deepika on their Instagram accounts and immediately, the picture went viral on social media. In the picture here, Deepika Padukone is seen with her sister Anisha Padukone, mother Ujjala Padukone and father, Prakash Padukone. Here, in the picture, Deepika Padukone sitting between her parents and seeing her look, we think in her mind she was counting days to her wedding. And Deepika, the wait is finally over because as we speak, you are Mrs. Deepika Padukone.
After the couple left for Italy, the wedding celebrations kick-started with a host of pre-wedding ceremonies like mehndi and sangeet. As told, DeepVeer took the pheras in a traditional South Indian-style wedding and today, the couple will take the vows again in an Anand Karaj ceremony, in Sikh tradition. For the uninitiated, Deepika and Ranveer started dating each other on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela. After their dreamy wedding in Italy, the duo will be hosting two receptions- one in Bengaluru and one in Mumbai. The one in Bengaluru is on November 21 at The Leela Palace and the one in Mumbai is on November 28 at Grand Hyatt.
It is being said that after the Anand Karaj ceremony, Ranveer and his wife, Deepika Padukone, will officially release their wedding pictures today at 6PM. While we are waiting with bated breath to get a glimpse of the bride and groom, but until then, let’s keep calm and enjoy these pictures.
