Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh wedding: Groom and bride give a hug to each other after rituals
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared a hug and took their parents' blessings after the wedding ceremony according to Konkani customs got over.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot today at Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy. The couple got married according to Konkani customs today. Deepika, Ranveer and their families were colour coordinated in white and gold-tone outfits designed by Sabyasachi. Deepika wore a saree today whereas Ranveer Sing was dressed in a kurta and dhoti. The couple went to great lengths to make sure that no images are leaked. There was heightened security at the villa. Ranveer and Deepika will share images from their wedding with their fans after the Anand Karaj ceremony tomorrow.
India Today reported that after the wedding rituals ended, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone shared a warm hug. The couple has been together for 6 years and they are now man and wife. After the rituals, they took the blessings of their parents. Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in the presence of only 40 people. They got officially engaged on November 12 and exchanged rings and their Mehendi and sangeet ceremony took place yesterday. The theme of the décor and their outfits will be red tomorrow. Deepika will be wearing a red lehenga whereas Ranveer will don a sherwani.
The couple has not invited anybody from Bollywood to the wedding. They will celebrate with their extended family and friends from the industry on November 28, 2018. Their reception will take place in Mumbai at a five-star hotel. For Deepika’s family and friends, the couple will host a reception in Bengaluru on November 21, 2018.
