Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh arranged for water-tight security for their wedding at Lake Como. The couple reportedly spent Rs. 1 crore on security arrangements.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding festivities commenced on November 12, 2018 in Italy. The couple reached Italy over the weekend with their family. Deepika and Ranveer Singh have ensured water-tight security so that no images from their wedding ceremony get leaked. The couple have rented seaplanes to keep drone cameras at bay and boats are patrolling the wedding venue. Guests had to present a wrist band and security guards covered up cameras of mobile phones at the venue. As per a report in Pop Diaries, the couple spent close to Rs. 1 crores for the security arrangements for the week.
Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding festivities started with Phool Muddi ceremony which was followed by an engagement ceremony. The couple also hosted a formal dinner after exchanging rings. The Mehendi and sangeet ceremony took place on November 13, 2018. Their wedding according to Konkani traditions took place today at Villa Del Balbianello. The ceremony was 4 hours long and the journalists reporting from Lake Como heard chants and prayers. The priest was flown in from India. Deepika Padukone wore a Sabyasachi red and gold lehenga whereas Ranveer Singh was dressed in a kurta and mundu.
The couple announced their wedding date on October 21, 2018 putting rumours to rest. The Anand Karaj ceremony will take place today at the same villa. The theme will be red and the bride and the groom will be wearing Sabyasachi outfits.
