After Deepika Padukone sported a radiant orange outfit at the pre-nuptial ceremony in Bengaluru, the bride surely made heads turn on social media. Padukone’s crew- stylist Shaleena Nathani, makeup artist Sandhya Shekar and hairstylist Gabriel Georgiou, all shared photos of the bride from the puja on their Instagram accounts. As expected, Deepika chose to dress up by her favourite Indian designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. And so, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Deepika decided to wear Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her pre-wedding ceremonies in Italy.

On Tuesday afternoon, Lake Como was gearing up for Deepika-Ranveer mehendi and sangeet ceremony and both the bride and groom were wearing Sabyasachi who happens to be their favourite designer and was present at the occasion to bless the couple. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Deepika made for a pretty picture in a lehenga and Ranveer wore a traditional outfit of the rich shade between red and pink. Before leaving for Italy, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were papped at the Mumbai airport and their color-coordinated white outfits at the airport was reason enough for us to believe that couple is going to coordinate most of their outfits during the pre-wedding and wedding ceremonies. Plus, our excitement levels had hit the roof ever since we spotted white Sabyasachi Mukherjee shopping bags at the airport along with DeepVeer’s luggage. During the ring ceremony and sit-down dinner, the couple again chose to color-coordinate their outfits and this time, in black and white.

May God bless them a lot. So much excited.. #deepveer

After the mehendi and sangeet ceremony, it is being reported that on Wednesday morning, DeepVeer will take the pheras in a traditional South Indian-style wedding at a villa. After which they will take the vows again in an Anand Karaj ceremony, in Sikh tradition. During the mehendi ceremony, singer Harshdeep Kaur performed and belted out some soulful music to suit the occasion, and thereafter, Punjabi dhol and nagada took over the sangeet ceremony.

For the uninitiated, Deepika and Ranveer started dating each other on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela. And after all the denials and rumours, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will tie the knot on November 14 and 15 in Italy. After their wedding, the duo will be hosting two receptions- one in Bengaluru and one in Mumbai. The one in Bengaluru is on November 21 at The Leela Palace and the one in Mumbai is on November 28 at Grand Hyatt.
