During the end of October 2018, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh decided to leave DeepVeer fans' hearts beating twice per pulse as they revealed that marriage was in the cards. In a simple and elegant statement via Twitter and Instagram, Deepika and Ranveer announced that they were to wed during the dates - November 14-15, 2018. The couple, along with 40 family members and close friends, flew to Lake Como, Italy recently to celebrate DeepVeer and their union in holy matrimony. Today is November 15, 2018, and DeepVeer are a married couple!

Post breaking the Internet with their first official wedding photos on Instagram, Bollywood celebrities are flooding Instagram and Twitter with well-wishes for the happy couple! One of them is a recent bride herself, Anushka Sharma, who knows what it is like to have the 'Wedding of the Year' along with her Virushka partner-in-crime, Virat Kohli. The actress, who is good friends with the couple and has worked with Ranveer in Band Baaja Baarat (2010), Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl (2011) and Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), took to Twitter to wish the couple and welcome them to the 'marriage' club.
