Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh Sindhi wedding: Makeshift Gurudwara erected at Villa Del Balbianello

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot on November 14 and 15. As the duo followed the Sindhi rituals for the day 2 of their wedding ceremony, they ensured that all the rituals were in perfect place.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding has been the talk of the town since the past two days. As the two tied the knot on November 14 and 15 following the Konkani and Sindhi rituals respectively, pictures of the newlyweds had everyone go crazy on the internet. Everyone poured in their best wishes, and while Anushka Sharma welcomed the couple to marital bliss, the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan, and many others wished the two.

The Sindhi style wedding ceremony, known as the Anand Karaj, which means a joyful union. According to the reports, for the Anand Karaj, a priest was flown all the way from Amritsar to Italy, and as the ritual goes, the ceremony is to take place at the Gurudwara. And hence, a makeshift Gurudwara was also built within the Villa for the Anand Karaj. The report further mentioned that the Anand Karaj started off in the morning, and went on till the afternoon.

The Sindhi wedding also saw groom Ranveer Singh arrive at the venue in a boat along with his friends and family. Ranveer also danced to the iconic numbers of Anil Kapoor and Govinda as well as to his own hit songs. 

The Villa was a sight to behold as it had nearly 10,000 roses adorning the venue keeping in line with the red colour theme for the Sindhi wedding. While the Konkani wedding on November 14 was subtle and classy, then the Sindhi style wedding definitely turned out to be a gala affair with all the fun and turn of events that took place.
