Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Mumbai reception that was held last night was a grand affair. The newlyweds looked stunning in Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and Rohit Bal outfits. Deepika looked gorgeous in a chikankari lehenga with gold embroidered border which was teamed with a matching dupatta, wrapped around her body like a saree pallu. She also wore a dupatta over her head which also served as a floor sweeping train. The look was accessorized with gold and pearl necklace and big chand bali earrings. Ranveer Singh looked handsome in a sherwani custom made by Rohit Bal, which he paired with a matching shawl.
Deepika and Ranveer met all the guests warmly and introduced them to their families. The venue was decorated with white lilies and the reception stage was set against a green backdrop. Guests were served exotic delicacies and the dessert counter had ice cream rolls, snow flakes, Rasmalai and pastries. The couple invited their friends from the media today at their reception. The couple got married on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como in Italy. The wedding was attended only by their close friends and immediate family members.
Deepika and Ranveer will host a grand wedding reception and have invited about 1000 guests to the function on December 1, 2018. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor confirmed recently that they will be attending it.
The couple has also invited Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Isabelle Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Manisha Koirala and other celebs.
