Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh just surprised all of us by posting photos of their wedding ceremonies. One of the images shows the Udida Mahurat ceremony and we just can't help but wonder did it help the bride in learning any new kitchen tricks? As per the Konkani wedding ceremony, Deepika and Ranveer got hitched on November 14. As per the reports, the two followed each and every ritual to be married to each other. One of the rituals in Konkani ceremony was Udida Mahurat.
Since black gram are a staple in Konkani cuisine and is considered auspicious. So, when the mahurat begins, the bride or the groom grind the black gram on the stone grinder. The reason of this ceremony is to help the bride learn kitchen tricks. Even the mother-in-law is present for this. Now, in the photo, we can see both Deepika and Ranveer performing the ritual together. We can’t help but wonder, have they both learnt some easy-peesy kitchen tricks yet? The Groom also does this ritual so that if his wife is unwell, he knows a trick or two. Now, isn’t that absolutely cute?

Aren't the two just absolutely adorable? The couple just left for Bengaluru this morning for their wedding reception which is on November 21. Post this, they will be returning to Mumbai for the Bhavnani reception on November 28. The reception for Bollywood will follow this on December 1. For now, we can't stop fawining over Mr and Mrs Singh!
