Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh Bollywood Bash: Rekha, Hema Malini and Asha Parekh mark their presence

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of those couples who instantly make people go weak in their knees. They tied the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018 at an 800-year-old-villa facing Lake Como in Italy. Soon after that, Deepika and Ranveer hosted a wedding reception in Bengaluru, which was attended by their family members. Then, they hosted a reception in Mumbai which was a thank you gesture for the media.
 
Now, for the big Bollywood bash, many celebrities have marked their presence. Veteran Bollywood beauties namely Hema Malini, Asha Parekh and Rekha were seen looking gorgeous in sarees. Rekha was seen in a golden Kanjeevaram saree with a violet border. Heavy statement jewellery and her trademark gajra rounded the gorgeous look. Hema was seen in a yellow saree with a green blouse teamed up with minimal jewellery. Asha Ji wore a black saree with heavy pink border and a pink blouse.

Talking about DeepVeer, Ranveer earlier said in an interview with Filmfare that he knew six months into the relationship that Deepika is the one and has nurtured the relationship accordingly. When asked about how ready he is to become a husband, he said, “I’ve been ready for a while. I was just waiting for Deepika to be ready. It would happen whenever she had decided. I was fully ready and raring to go.” He also shared that he wanted to fulfil Deepika’s wish of having the kind of wedding she wanted. He said that everything was done according to her wishes. The interview was conducted before the couple's wedding.
