Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh Bengaluru wedding reception: Couple mingles with guests

The Padukone family hosted Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception in Bengaluru today at The Leela Palace Hotel. Abhinav Bindra, Venkatesh Prasad, Anil Kumble, PV Sindhu and other sports stars attended the reception. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Sudha Murthy also congratulated the couple at their wedding reception. Deepika and Ranveer had arrived at the venue in the evening to check on the preparations and arrangements. The couple’s close friends were also in attendance today.

Deepika and Ranveer met all the guests and Prakash Padukone introduced son-in-law to all his friends, on the stage. They also posed for family photos on stage. The couple posed for selfies with Ranveer Singh’s cousin and with Pooja Makhija. In the inside videos from the reception, the couple is seen thanking all the guests congratulating them for their wedding. Before the reception, the couple stepped out for a photo-op for the media and thanked them for their wishes. Ranveer Singh told the mediapersons, “Please have dinner before you leave,” before heading in the ballroom for the reception.

The couple and the Bhavnani family will be hosting three other receptions. On November 24, 2018, November 28, 2018 and December 1, 2018. After the reception on December 1, the couple will reportedly leave for their honeymoon. It will be a short trip as Ranveer Singh will return to the country to promote his film Simmba.

As per a report, the couple will take another trip after the release of Simmba and will ring in the New Year and Deepika Padukone’s birthday abroad.
