Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Bollywood's power couple has finally tied the knot today in Lake Como, Italy. The couple got married in a traditional Konkani wedding today which will be followed by a Sindhi traditional wedding on Thursday. DeepVeer hosted their mehendi and sangeet ceremony on Tuesday which was nothing short of a grand event in itself. Ranveer reportedly broke into dance for his bride while Deepika couldn't stop blushing.
She apparently even got emotional when Ranveer went down on his knees to propose her during the engagement ceremony. As soon as the news of them getting married broke, within minutes the spouse option on their wikipedia bio was updated. Check out for yourselves. Well, this indeed is a moment to absorb for the lovely couple and honestly, we all are waiting with bated breath to catch the first glimpse of them post marriage. The duo donned Sabyasachi outfits for their big day.
Ranveer and Deepika dated for around six years before they finally made the wedding announcement in October. The two will be hosting receptions post their return to India. While they will make their first apperance as a married couple during their Bengaluru reception, the couple will also host a wedding reception in Mumbai for close industry friends and media persons. Invitations for the same as already been sent. The duo has requested guests to not carry any gifts but make a donation at DP's NGO, if they want.
