Dear Oppa: An NCTzen says Mark is her bias; never thought she’d be simping over 23 men when she got into KPop

NCT’s Mark Lee, also a part of the super-KPop group called SuperM, has been charming his way into people’s hearts with his handsome looks and great rapping skills. The capabilities of the singer, rapper and songwriter know no bounds, as was evident when he was chosen to be a part of a collaborative project alongside experienced sunbaenims. Being a part of 4 groups isn’t easy, but Mark makes it seem like a piece of cake. 

Today's heartwarming letter in our Dear Oppa series has been penned by Priyasha Singh from India to NCT’s Mark. Read her letter below:

Dear Mark,

I got into KPop the same year NCT debuted. Never in my wildest dreams I thought I'd be simping over 23 men (and many more to come haha).

I got into NCT when you came up with Cherry Bomb. I used to listen to that song everyday but never took out enough time to know more about you. But the first person who caught my attention was you, Mark. Fast forward to 2019. NCT 127 came up with Regular and you all became a part of my daily routine. 

I am currently preparing for a competitive exam and I usually feel lost especially due to the Covid situation. But all this stress and anxiety just vanishes seeing you all smile so brightly. I love how even after promoting with 4 different groups, you smile as if you are not tired. I love how you are so passionate towards music and how you love being on the stage. You are one of the purest people I have ever seen, as if you have nothing to hide. Even though I am not sure if I'll ever get to see you in person but just the fact that I can see you on the stage, so comfortable and happy, is enough to make my day a little better. 

I am just so grateful for the amount of hard work you put in your music. You motivate me at every step of my life. You make me want to become a better person. I hate Physics but seeing you work for achieving your dreams makes me step up for all the challenges that are waiting for me (Yes, Physics is a challenge for me haha).

I don't know if you'll ever get to read this but I hope you know how much you mean to NCTzens. Someone said, "If Mark isn't your bias , he is your bias." And I very much agree with that. You don't know how much power you hold, how your laugh brightens up the day of so many people, how you are like the sunshine on a chilly day. I am happy "cause I'm not alone, you who became a warm home for me".

Thank you for being a part of NCT. Thank you for being you, Mark. Words aren't enough to express you much I respect and love you. With lots of love and affection, one of your grasses.
