Dear Eonni: A BLINK from India says she’ll be the first one to buy a BLACKPINK concert ticket in India!

BLACKPINK, the biggest girl group of KPop industry, has fans across the world and receive a lot of love. But hate too, is a part and parcel of being a star. Even though the 4-member group has been shattering records and releasing incredible music, each member faces her own share of hate, which their ardent fan Rishika has also addressed in her letter. Rose’s latest debut On The Ground has been receiving a lot of praise and love, rightfully so!

Today's heartwarming letter in our Dear Eonni series has been penned by Rishika from India to BLACKPINK. Read her letter below:

I am Rishika, 12 years old and from India. (I read about a girl who wrote how BLACKPINK helps her and got recommended in google about it. So I thought maybe I should give in my thoughts too) I love BLACKPINK and have supported them since their debut. In India Kpop isn’t listened to a whole lot, but these days it has started gaining attention. They have broken many records and I am oh so very happy for them. BLACKPINK has never come to India....but if they ever do I assure you I will be the first one to buy a ticket for their concert. I love all of their songs, collabs, interviews, etc. BLACKPINK music helps me calm down and relax. It even brightens up my mood and gives me energy. All the girls from BLACKPINK are unique in their own ways. Rosé released her solo a couple of days ago and I listened to it live! It was awesome. They deserve more love and affection. Jennie is hated a lot, Lisa is body shamed, Jisoo is ignored and Rosé isn’t cared about. I hope all this changes and they get more love. I would love to meet all of them and moreover Jennie, she is my bias.

Thank you.

~Rishika
