What fun are game shows if there's no playful cheating? After all, rules are meant to be broken! Part of the K-Pop experience is getting to see your favourite idols being their true, carefree selves on variety shows. A lot of these variety shows feature games and competitive sports of all kinds. Now these games might look simple but they're some of the hardest and trickiest ones out there, orchestrated to get the best (and worst) out of these seemingly perfect idols. Nonetheless, it is endless entertainment for fans, especially when idols risk it all to win. 

Here are 6 times K-Pop idols hilariously got away with cheating on game shows!

BTS' Jimin on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

One of the most iconic episodes from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is undoubtedly the time when BTS was featured on the show for a week straight. This included numerous games and activities along with the historic performance of "ON" at Grand Central Station. One of the funniest episodes on BTS Week was the game of Subway Olympics where the members and Jimmy Fallon faced off in a number of mini-games in a tournament format until one final winner emerged. One of the games here was the Post-It Challenge where the members would be divided into teams and each team would have to stick post-it notes on Jin and Jungkook. The team with the most post-it notes on the body, wins. After the stipulated time was over, Jimin, not being satisfied with their performance, continued to stick the post-it notes on Jungkook while Jimmy counted Jin's notes. Inevitably, Jungkook's team won, all thanks to Jimin's cheating! However, Suga isn't too bad at cheating either. As a matter of fact, he's so casual about it that it doesn't even feel like cheating.

SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan

Much like Jimin, Jeonghan has quite a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to game shows and one of these is cheating. As a matter of fact, this has happened so many times that the SEVENTEEN members are pretty used to it and it is common knowledge within the group that Jeonghan will, in all probability, not be fair in the game. We all love him regardless!

NCT's Haechan 

One of the youngest members of NCT, Haechan is the group's ray of sunshine. However, he can be quite clever when it comes to games. Nothing is off-limits and Haechan has his eye on the prize. There's no stopping him when he wants something and as such, he has come to be known as the "game genius" of NCT. Perhaps because he does it all so adorably, he gets away with it.

TXT Huening Kai

Like hyung, like dongsaeng. Huening Kai cheats for the sake of cheating and this fact spices up any and all games the group plays. He might not be very good at it but it sure makes the game a whole lot more interesting to say the least. As such, even if he's caught red-handed, he's too cute to be punished for it.

Red Velvet Yeri

Red Velvet's maknae is no less clever than any of the other idols on this list. As a matter of fact, she's perhaps the smartest of them all when speaking of game tricks. She might look innocent but she's here to win and it shows.You'll often see her scheming on the down-low in variety shows but she never gets caught or even if she does, her aegyo is enough to let her get away with it.

GOT7 Jackson

Jackson knows no rules other than the ones he makes himself. At times though, he isn't hesitant to break those either. Who could forget Jackson jumping into the basketball game area in the arcade and passing the ball through the basket repeatedly to gain points? He's so open about his cheating that there's no way anyone can tell him anything for it.
