BTS member Jin’s song Moon breaks MAJOR record as it becomes longest charting track on the Melon Chart
BTS member Jin recently broke a major record by becoming the longest-charting solo track by any BTS member on the Melon Chart, according to reports by Soompi.
The song Moon by BTS member Jin reached another milestone after it surpassed another single Euphoria by Jin’s BTS co-singer Jungkook after it became the longest-charting solo track by any BTS member on the Melon Chart. According to reports by Soompi, the song Moon has spent a whopping 222 days as of today on the MelOn Top 100 Chart.
Jin’s solo single barely left the weekly MelOn Chart, charting for 30+ weeks since Map of The Soul 7 released 33 weeks ago. For the unversed, MelOn, owned by Naver, is the biggest Music Streaming Platform in South Korea.

In case you missed it, in July, Jin’s song Moon reached #1 on iTunes Top Songs chart in 80 countries including the US. It was disclosed that Moon, which is a dedication from the eldest BTS member to ARMY, reached #1 in the US, which made its current total to 80 countries, where the song has reached the numero uno position. What's special about this is that Jin extended his own record for the most #1's on iTunes for a b-sidetrack by a Korean artist.
