BREAKING: BIGBANG's G Dragon and BLACKPINK's Jennie are reportedly dating; YG Ent responds
Earlier today, Dispatch Korea released pictorial proof and a report about G Dragon and Jennie's relationship status.
Its only Wednesday and the K-pop industry is already giving us a shocker! Earlier today, Dispatch Korea released pictorial proof and an accompanying report about BIGBANG's G Dragon and BLACKPINK Jennie's secret relationship. Titled 'Exclusive' Dispatch Korea, revealed that the two YG stars have been dating for a year now! The news has come as a surprise to Kpop fans who have been trending 'Jennie' and 'G Dragon' on SNS platforms.
In an exclusive report by Dispatch Korea, YG Entertainment revealed that they had witnessed G-Dragon and Jennie meet secretly. The two rappers often have dates at his luxurious penthouse in Hannam-dong. G-Dragon has a personal parking lot and a private elevator, which Jennie was allowed to use freely, without any verification. Dispatch further explained that Jennie would complete her everyday activities with her group, BLACKPINK and meet G-Dragon post that, and repeat this schedule every day. The relationship is an open secret at their company and their respective managers' co-ordinate their individual schedules in such a way, that it allows them to meet one another in privacy. Jennie's manager drives her to G-Dragon's home and sometimes G-Dragon's manager takes her to G-Dragon's penthouse.
Previously, they sparked dating rumours on January 31, when Dispatch Korea spotted Jennie leaving G-Dragon’s home in the morning and heading to the concert venue for BLACKPINK's first online concert, THE SHOW. Dispatch Korea had reported back then that G-Dragon's car was also found at the venue for the concert. YG Entertainment, Jennie and G-Dragon's agency commented, “We can not confirm anything about our artists’ personal lives. We ask for your understanding.”
BLACKPINK's Jennie has always been a fan of BIGBANG's G-Dragon and considers him as an idol figure. Jennie has previously collaborated with G-Dragon on the song, The XX, in his solo album One Of A Kind. She further participated in the lead track, Black, from his second regular album.
