Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani's Baaghi 2 is unstoppable; crosses Rs 200 crore worldwide
Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi is unstoppable at the box office. Tiger is being showered with praises and appreciation from all the corners. At worldwide box office, the film has grossed over Rs 200 crore.
Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi is continuing to roar at the box office. The movie entered the 100-crore club in just 6 days. With the movie now entering the third week of its release, Baaghi 2 has earned a whopping Rs 148.45 crore at the domestic box office. The film grossed Rs 232.06 crore at the worldwide box office.
This is the biggest opening for a film starring a young actor. Earlier, it was Ranbir Kapoor's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which was on the list.
Tiger is being showered with praises and appreciation from all the corners and has also been compared to Salman Khan. However, Tiger in a tweet said that there can be only one tiger and that is Salman Khan.
In a video, Tiger thanked his fans for this overwhelming response to the movie. He said, "Hi everyone, I just want to thank all of you who have given me support and the whole team of Baaghi 2. I can't thank you enough. It feels so surreal and I feel like I am still dreaming. This is something that I couldn't have ever dreamt of or even dare to dream of. I am just so thankful for all that has happened. On the behalf of Baaghi 2 team, we are so grateful and thankful."
Earlier, at the trailer launch, director Ahmed Khan said, "It was Sajid's (Nadiadwala) idea to bring Tiger and Disha together in Baaghi 2." Talking about the director and producer of the film, Disha said, "I would like to thank Sajid as he gave me this opportunity. It's a beautiful story and Ahmed sir has literally spoon fed me since Day 1. He told me how to perform, including the song, I was not that great. Whatever has come out, I have not done many films, but this is my best performance. Ahmed brought the best out of me."
