Stree Box Office Collection: Rajkummar Rao is NOW a part of the 100 crore club

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree is continuing its dream run at the box office. The film has now crossed the 100-crore mark and with this, Rajkummar has finally entered the BIG club. He took to Twitter to announce the happy news and wrote, "100 crores and counting for #Stree. Thank you for all the love. @ShraddhaKapoor #DineshVijan @KrishDK @RajnDK @pvijan @amarkaushik @TripathiiPankaj @Aparshakti @nowitsabhi @MaddockFilms #D2RFilms @JioCinema." Both Rajkummar and Shraddha are happy and content with the success of the film. 

Going by the numbers the film has minted, we can say that the audience have started appreciating the content-based cinema. Rajkummar and Shraddha have done an amazing job in putting up their roles in Stree. Dinesh Vijan, in a statement, said, "It’s been such a great journey for all of us associated with Stree and achieving this feat makes us as a production house even more confident in backing the content we believe in. The feedback along with the box office numbers is surreal and I’m so full of gratitude at the moment! The excitement for sequel has already set in and we are working hard to ensure that we deliver the same for Stree 2."

Talking about Stree, the film has a strong message that women need to respected and not taken for granted. But, the makers chose a different genre to deal with the strong subject - horror comedy. Bollywood hasn't experimented much in in this genre. 

Well, Stree has changed the notion and now, we can expect more Horror Comedies. The good news is that we will also get to the sequel of Stree.
