Sanju Box Office Reports: Ranbir Kapoor starrer inches closer to Rs 150 crore at the domestic market
Ranbir Kapoor's latest release Sanju released on Friday and it is having a stronghold at the domestic market. The film is expected to touch Rs 150 crore figure soon. Check out the latest collection of Sanjay Dutt biopic.
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju released on last Friday. Based on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt, the film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It was one of the much-awaited films of 2018. On the first day of its release, the film managed to collect approximately Rs 34 crores at the domestic market.
On Saturday, there was a growth in the collection taking the figures up to Rs 38 crore and showing a major rise in numbers on Sunday with Rs 46 crore. On Monday, which is a working day, the film did a good business and made a collection of Rs 25 crores, reports Box Office India. Thus, the overall box office collection of Sanju in the domestic market is now Rs 144.58 crores approx (Box Office figure). The film is inching closer to make a collection more than Rs 150 crore on Tuesday.
As per the production house figures, Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju mints Rs 25.35 crore on Monday taking the grand total to Rs 145.41 crore. Thus, Sanju became biggest non-holiday Monday ever for any Hindi film.
This is the fourth film of Ranbir Kapoor that has entered the Rs 100 crore club. His earlier films to break the records at the box office were Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma and Jim Sarbh. Ranbir and Vicky have received a lot of accolades for their performances in the film.
