Sanju Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor’s film is on a roll at the domestic market

Sanjay Dutt’s life history or biopic titled Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor is out and has been appreciated by both the critics and viewers. The film has got huge numbers at the domestic box office and is unstoppable. In the second week, the film earned Rs 62.9 crores at the box office. 

The total collection of Sanju stands tall at Rs 265.48 crore. 

Here is the breakdown of Sanju's box office collection:

Day 1 - Friday (June 29): Rs 34.75 crore

Day 2 - Saturday (June 30): Rs 38.6 crore

Day 3 - Sunday (July 1): Rs 46.71 crore

Day 4 - Monday (July 2): Rs 25.35 crore

Day 5 - Tuesday (July 3): Rs 22.1 crore

Day 6 - Wednesday (July 4): Rs 18.9 crore

Day 7 - Thursday (July 5): Rs 16.1 crore

Day 8 - Friday (July 6): Rs 12.90 crore

Day 9 - Saturday (July 7): Rs 22.02 crore

Day 10 - Sunday (July 8): Rs 28.05 crore

The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. 

The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer has become the highest opener at the box office in 2018 till now. The film beat Salman Khan’s Race 3, Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 and Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat. On its third day, it earned the highest single day collection ever for a Hindi film in India, surpassing the Hindi dubbed version of Baahubali 2. 

Hirani had recently thanked his audience for loving and supporting the film by not watching the leaked online version which had been doing the rounds on the internet. 

"Have to say that you all are exceptional human beings. You have the empathy to understand the sweat, blood, and tears that go into making a movie and you have the strength to awaken the conscience of others by requesting them not to view it," Hiran's Facebook post read. 

Post Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Brahamstra alongside Alia Bhatt.
